Da Vinci Resolve includes a powerful feature called "Generate Subtitles from Audio", allowing you to create subtitles directly from your video’s audio track. This is incredibly useful for enhancing accessibility, SEO, or viewer engagement.

Follow the steps below to easily generate subtitles from audio:

Step 1: Navigate to Subtitle Tool

Go to Timeline > AI Tools > Create Subtitles from Audio.

Step 2: Adjust Settings (Optional)

In the settings panel, you can change the subtitle settings if needed. For this guide, we'll proceed with the default settings.

Step 3: Subtitle Generation in Progress

Da Vinci Resolve will now automatically generate the subtitles.

Step 4: View and Edit Subtitles

Once generation is complete, you’ll see the subtitles in the timeline. Double-click on the subtitle track to open the Subtitle Inspector panel on the right.

Step 5: Explore Subtitle Styles

Open the Effects panel and navigate to the Subtitle section. You’ll find two types of subtitles: Static and Animated.

Drag and drop one of the animated subtitle styles onto the subtitle track.
